« The campsite was quite good, and the entertainment organised excellent for being out of season. There is a lot of noise from just outside the campsite with road noise and noisy people going by and shouting loudly late at night and in early morning. We went to the restaurant/bar almost every night and initially found it to be very accommodating. After several days, however, they made an error with our bill and overcharged us and then seemed to take issue with us disagreeing with the bill, even though the excellent waitress pointed out that we were correct. They then embarrassed us every day afterwards by treating our group differently and putting drink slips on our table every night afterwards. The beach is further than expected and then also slopes down very sharply with string back-currents which meant we could not swim there comfortably. »

« Camping is nice but the location is bad. In the middle of nowhere, no pavement to walk on outside camp, dark and dangerous with cars passing by. Walk to the beach is at least 10min through a dusty car park, every time a car passes by you get surrounded by a cloud of dust. Poor entertainment that gets cancelled at a few drops of rain. All entertainment is in French, there's nothing for non French speaking tourists. We had issues with our mobile home, no hot water the first day, electricity was off in the middle of the night and we stayed without air conditioning or a functional fridge till morning, and a leaking roof when it rained. These problems were sorted but still caused us a lot of inconvenience. It's not a place we would go back to. »
